Founded in 2001 on the Caribbean island of St. Kitts by Lindelle Williams and two of his closest friends, Evolution Sounds Entertainment began with a simple goal: to provide high-quality DJ services and equipment rentals for club-type parties and events. In 2003, Lindelle moved to Halifax, Canada, where he saw an opportunity to expand the business. Through networking and a deep understanding of the local market, we quickly established ourselves in the Halifax entertainment scene and began securing numerous event bookings. These early successes gave us the experience needed to build a solid reputation in Atlantic Canada.

Business Owner and Operator

Lindelle Williams, known in the music scene as DJ Webber, is a seasoned Business Owner and Operator with over 25 years of experience in the dynamic world of DJ and entertainment services. Born on the vibrant Caribbean island of St. Kitts, Lindelle's passion for music was ignited at a young age through the rich Sound System culture. His journey began as a teenager experimenting with turntables and learning from established DJs in his hometown. This passion soon led to the formation of Evolution Sounds, a DJ group that has become synonymous with unforgettable musical experiences.

Throughout his illustrious career, DJ Webber has held residencies at prominent venues such as St. Mary’s University Grosebrook Pub, The Loft Nightclub, and Hide and Seek Nightclub. His talent has taken him to perform at events across Toronto, Newfoundland, Boston, Antigua, and St. Kitts and Nevis. He has also graced the stages of renowned music festivals including Evolve and Folly Festivals in New Brunswick, as well as the African Festival and NS Multi-Cultural Fest in Nova Scotia, and several Carnival and International Music Festivals in the Caribbean.

Off the stage, Lindelle is a strong advocate for promoting Caribbean culture within his local community through various event planning roles. As a mentor, he is dedicated to supporting and inspiring upcoming DJs and event promoters, using his platform to foster growth and awareness in the industry. Renowned for his technical versatility and innovative blends of different music genres, DJ Webber crafts immersive experiences that transcend mere listening, taking audiences on a journey through sound and time with each meticulously chosen track.
